Hello, I just moved to Winston-Salem in August 2008, and I am looking for a running buddy(s). I have run some local 5K and 10K events locally in the past couple of years, most recently the Brenner's 5K on 9-6-08. I am not a fiercely competitive runner, but I am always trying to improve on my race times (right now, I am running an 8-9 min. mile for 3 mile runs, a little slower on my 6-7 mile runs). I am open to advice about jogging, but really I am looking for a running comrade. Male or female, it doesn't matter, but I am also in the market for a female companion in my life, so if she is a runner, that will be even better. Drop me a line if interested. Thanks.

Just an update...I have found a running bud, and she is quite a gal (wink, wink), so disregard the previous request for running buddies. Thanks for all the "support" you guys/gals have given. I'll see you at the races :P
