Do not know much about your area except the bike routes. If you can I would suggest running with a group that meets at the central YMCA in Winston-Salem on Sunset Blvd. This is also near a track at Hanes Park. Once you learn the routes you can run on your own on the days you want to be alone. Also, there is Salem Lake, near Winston-Salem State University, it is a seven mile loop of a dirt trail. |
